Things To Do

Glacier National Park
If you have a day to explore, Glacier's trails are truly world-class. The Highline Trail along the Garden Wall offers some of the most dramatic ridge-line views you'll find, while Lake McDonald is the perfect spot to slow down and soak it all in.
For those looking to go a little deeper into the backcountry, the chalets at Sperry and Granite Park are bucket-list worthy — just be sure to arrive to the park early, ideally before 6am. Whatever your pace, you won't be disappointed.

Going to the Sun Road
Cutting through GNP, Going-to-the-Sun Road is one of the most breathtaking drives in the world. Winding 50 miles through the heart of Glacier National Park, the road climbs to Logan Pass with views that will stop you in your tracks.
Our tip: arrive before 6:00 AM to secure a spot at the Pass; it fills up fast, but catching the morning light over the peaks makes the early morning worth it.
From there, continue east through the park to the town of East Glacier, and make the scenic loop back to Bigfork.
